What we don't do
You can read this site without telling us who you are, and we'd have no way to find out.
The search box
The city search on the homepage runs entirely in your browser. What you type is never sent to us or to anyone else — there's no server behind it to send it to.
Fonts
This site uses two typefaces, Source Serif 4 and Inter. They are served from this site's own server — the same place as the pages themselves. Your browser never contacts Google, or any other third party, to load them.
Why we bother: the common way to use these fonts is to load them from Google's font service, which hands Google your IP address and the page you're on. A German court ruled in 2022 that doing so transmits personal data without consent, in breach of the GDPR. Most sites in this category load Google Fonts anyway and don't mention it. We host the fonts ourselves so that transfer never happens.
Server logs
These pages are served through Cloudflare. Like nearly every website, that means standard access logs — IP address, time of request, page requested, browser type. We don’t use those logs to build a profile of you, and we don’t combine them with anything else.
Worth being precise about what Cloudflare is, because “our host” undersells it. Cloudflare is a reverse proxy: it sits between your browser and this site, terminates the encrypted connection, and sees every request you make here in the clear. That is how it delivers the site quickly, and it is not something we can log our way out of. Cloudflare processes your requests under its own privacy policy and its own retention periods, which are theirs to state, not ours to paraphrase.
We should be straight about one consequence: self-hosting the fonts closed the one third party we chose to add, but it did not make this site private of everything. The connection itself has always gone through Cloudflare, and nothing short of not using a CDN would change that. That is the honest boundary of what a site like this can promise.
Contacting us
If you email us at hello@rideshare-accident.lawyer — to correct a listing or challenge something in our research — we'll have your email and whatever you write in it. We use it to reply and to fix the thing you told us about. We don't add you to a mailing list, because we don't have one.
Lawyers listed on this site
Listings are built from publicly available information about law firms: business listings, published review records, and firms' own public statements about their practice. That's business information, not personal information — and no lawyer gives us anything to be listed.
If you're listed and something is wrong, tell us and we'll correct it.
Changes
If we add anything that collects data — analytics, a contact form, anything at all — this page will say so, and it will say so when we add it rather than afterwards.
We haven’t stated a legal basis. This site is run by a business registered in the United Arab Emirates, hosted by a United States company, serving an audience in the United States, loading fonts from another United States company. Which law governs that stack — the UAE’s data protection law, the GDPR, the CCPA, some combination — is not a question we should answer by guessing, and it decides whether this page owes you a rights section, a named data controller and a stated legal basis.
We’re not lawyers. That sentence appears on two other pages here and it means the same thing on this one. Until someone who is has looked at it, this page describes what we do rather than claiming compliance with anything.
That gap is in this page, not in the practice it describes. Nothing above changes either way: no analytics, no cookies, no storage, no forms, nothing sold.
